Educational Lectures to Schools
Botswana, Africa is one of the wildest least populated places on earth. But its also a modern country with a large urban population, a democratic government and a free economy. Its a rare African success story. African Excursions owner Peter Durkin shares insights into the country, its flora and fauna, diverse landscapes, and unique cultures. The presentations are based on first hand experiences gained from running a non-profit game reserve and living and working with the San Bushmen of the Kalahari, the last of the hunter/gatherers.
Relevant to your curriculum and tailored to your grade levels and specific needs including:
 Geography
Cultural and Social Studies
 Tie-in to Black History Month
 Math
 Natural History/Environmental Studies

 Political Science/Current Events
 Creative Writing/Journalism./Literature
The dynamic interactive talk is accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation and fascinating artifacts including a real lion skin (supplied by Botswanas Department of Wildlife and National Park's Problem Animal Division), a bushman hunting kit, genuine handicrafts and much more.
